This trailer is for the new film Out of Annapolis a new documentary tracing the experiences of gay alumni of the U.S. Naval Academy. This film provides more proof that the military’s ban on openly gay soldiers is damaging to our soldiers and our military.

If all the gas and lesbians were instantly discharged from our Armed Services they would have to reinstitute the draft.

Heh, so true. The day people realize that will be the day people stop trying to silence or throw out our troops on a basis of sexuality.

Have you heard of rss? It’s a lot better way than simply bookmarking the site. Especialy if you’re using opera – the rss reader in it is tons better than the one in firefox.

This gay novel has pretty extreme views about religion and being gay all done in a sci-fi style sory, the writer was even almost killed when this book was first published. After being banned in his own country it is now available.
check the plot – As predicted by Isaac Newton the second coming happened and as the world waited to see what was about to happen an appointed man was sent to meet God, hours later God had vanished and the man came out immortal; no apocalypse, no destruction and no salvation. This gave birth to a chain of holy wars that almost chattered Earth’s civilizations and so giving birth to a mass colonization of planets to ensure peace by separation. Thousands of years later all was at peace by until Endings were born; humans connected to their planets in such a way that they are capable of destroying them should they wish it. Now Earth’s Ending has been born and the day to pass judgment draws near.

That’s very cool. I’ll definitely be seeing it when it’s out, and elbowing my acquaintances in that direction – especially my pro-DADT acquaintances.

There is still a long way ahead of us, but the fact that movies like this are allowed to be made already shows we’ve come a long way in the fight for civil liberties and equal rights.
But we’re strong enough to make it!
We still have a long way to go though

I wonder if the navy is happy with the release of this movie. Because if they’re not (which they probably are) nothing will change – they’ll just dismiss it as a stupid propaganda movie.

Do not be swept away by the tide of superfecial ‘correctness’. Straight men have sensitivities too and it is callous to ignore the fact that many gay men (non-military) suffer the need for intense masculine repair. The subject is domed to remain contoversial because both pros and cons on the tedious issue have legitmate points to make.

What a change. I’m very happy for all of those who are out & proud. Being gay is hard enough, being military gay? I can only imagine.
