McCain Blusters

May 26, 2007 at 10:00 am 4 comments

John McCain continues to throw his Iraq war pom-poms in the air like he just don’t care. In a recent statement he accused Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama of “waving a white flag to al Qaeda” for their votes against giving President Bush a blank check to continue waging war with no strategy to win and no plan to bring our troops home. One thing that I find particularly interesting about the whole thing is that McCain bothered to show up and actually cast a vote. He has missed more votes than any senator currently running for the presidency.

Its fine if McCain wants to get his presidential wannabe groove on by embracing Bush’s failed escalation of the Iraq war, but heain’t building any kind of credibility by attacking Clinton and Obama for doing what the voters want to them do: show up for work and vote on the key issues of the day.

First off, I would love to see your source stating that McCain did not show up to vote. Now granted he has not voted on 89 of 181 potential castings, but please back up your statement for this. At least you are using facts in that he has missed more votes than any other senator currently running for the presidency and coming in second would be your man, Barack Hussein Obama!!!!!

“Bush’s failed escalation of the Iraq war”, I bet it eats at you how the Democrats are “giving in” to Bush and the Republicans. I am not in favor of McCain, but let’s be honest he is going to have more credibility than Clinton and as time goes by, the Clinton entourage will rip Obama apart. 2008 will go to a Republican.

So you have been in hiding for a few months and ou can’t even say hello when you return? Were you at the Dick Cheney Charm School?

I love how shocked you conservatives are that Senator Obama has a middle name. A lot of Americans do including your patron saint of unnecessary wars George W. Bush.

Enjoy your moment in the political sun with the blank check that the Dems gave you on the Iraq war. Its going to become a noose around the Republican Party’s neck as you continue your road to ruin in Iraq.

    BTW, welcome back.

Thanks for the welcoming back and no I have not been in hiding. Just to let you know, my wife and I are expecting baby # 2 in September!! And actually I have received a promotion and have been doing a lot of traveling and am just now getting back into the swing of things.

I’m in no way or shape shocked that Obama has a middle name, but I love the fact the Democrats are tucking their tail and giving in. Remember all that tough talk back in November, what happened? As far as a noose, you’re crazy to think that, but what is even crazier is the John Edwards of our society who believe that there is no global war on terror, obviously he has chased one too many ambulances in his day.

BTW- thanks for the welcoming back!
