Scooter Libby and Paris Hilton?

June 5, 2007 at 3:28 pm 4 comments

Scooter has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for lying and obstruction regarding the investigation into the Valerie Plame leak scandal.

Paris Hilton is just turned herself in for a 23 day jail stint for, well, being Paris.

Its not much. But its great to see the rich and powerful who do wrong get served. Now, the question becomes whether or not President will issue pardons.

It seems to be pretty much a given that he will slip it through when nobody is paying attention… pretty much the standard sleight-of-hand that goes on regularly.

They get served do they? Paris suddenly excused from prison time for “health” reasons? Scooter seems able to “report” to jail at his leisure. Yeah, they have been served. Well served.

Yeah Paul, Paris’ scrawny ass was released from jail for health reasons and not be because she is rich and famous. Scooter is probably getting his “get out of jail free” card printed right now. For just a minute I was dumb enough to believe that justice would be served.

I think Paris is very pretty but at times doesn’t show it
