No, it wasn’t about WMDs, democracy or concern for the Iraqi people.

A danger to whose democracy? Iraq did not attack the U.S. and no weapons of mass destruction were.

That Saddam’s Iraq was a danger to democracy and every other form of government near Iraq is beyond dispute.

As for the reasons for removing him, just look to the treaty that he signed after Gulf War 1. There were at least seventeen major violations, and God only knows how many minor violations. A single one (violation of the agreement) was cause for reestablishment of hostilities.

I myself believe that going into Iraq was a mistake. Yes, one day it would have to be done, but the time was not at hand in my opinion. We should have finished off the Taliban, and taken the head of Bin Ladin before any thing else.

@ Patrick, I agree the focus should have remained on Al Qaeda until we got Osama bin Laden who masterminded the 9/11 attacks.

@ Irimusvlad, I don’t deny that Saddam had relationships with seriously questionable people. So does the U.S. I think Bush should have focused on bin Laden because he was the one behind the attacks on 9/11. Its almost six years later and bin Laden is still roaming free.

You all make me want to PUKE!! You know nothing…This 9/11, Osama, Bush thing is just a ruse used by the elite to get us in the U.S.A. to give up our freedoms that Millions have died for in past wars, and….OIL MONEY for Bush. Lets be realistic, Impeach Cheany, Bush, Gonzales, and fire everyone that Bush appointed…..

And for Cheany……You are a VIPER, a snake, I hate snakes.
