Where There’s a Funeral, There’s Fred Phelps

The religious troglodyte that is Fred Phelps has risen from his pool of sewage to protest at the funerals of victims of the bridge collapse in Minnesota.

Rev. Phelps says God hates Minnesota, the “land of the sodomite damned.”

The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., plans to stage protests at funerals of victims of the 35W bridge collapse to state that God made the bridge fall because he hates America, and especially Minnesota, because of its tolerance of homosexuality.

The church and its pastor, the Rev. Fred Phelps, have become notorious over recent years for their claim that the attack of 9/11 was an act of God’s vengeance and their determination to make that case at the funerals of U.S. soldiers who died in Iraq.

Fred Phelps & Co. tried to make an appearance in my neck of the woods recently too.

You may’ve heard about the unbelievably tragic story of 5 Fairport, NY high school girls who died in a car wreck this summer. They had just graduated from high school like 4 or 5 days earlier. They had these great careers planned in medicine and social service and all of them were to begin college in the fall.

None of this mattered to the evil, God-fearing Fred Phelps. He announced he would be making an appearance at their funeral! Go figure? Anyway, the principal from the kids high school appealed to the media to totally ignore the mindless protest and to their credit, none of the local print or electronic media covered their appearance here.

How do you explain such evil? Such hatred? All in the name of God and the Bible. They’re sick mofos.

But, notice how some religious leaders say that LGBT people are the perverts. Phelps preaches hatred in a way that is almost unbelievable.

I find his shinanigans dispicable. Lately I have been having one thought. That is that someone should take him out. It’s too bad that he’s a pastor and not follow the teachings of his Christ. Christ would abhor this behavior. I’ve decided that, if you believe in the Devil, that Fundamentalism is his game. Just imagine being the Devil. It would be thoroughly delicious to inject sin by having people believing they are being just and righteous, all the while doing that very thing that will send them to hell. I believe in reincarnation, and he’s gonna be sent right back to the beginng and have to do his lives over again.

For those of you that are interested, there are two devastating exposes on Fred Phelps, and he sure doesn’t want you to read them.

Google: LOVING GOD’S HATE and ADDICTED TO HATE to read them both.

Some of the many items you will find: Phelps’ estranged children have openly asserted they were severely and frequently abused; the details of Fred’s disbarment by both the Kansas Supreme Court and the Federal Courts for repeated violations of ethics standards; the details of successful lawsuits against Phelps for not paying his bills. One suit, for more than $5,000, was by a candy vendor. The expose further states that Phelps made his children sell candy late into the evening and in bad weather. The pressure to bring money home was so intense some of the children began stealing.

Although several of his children are attorneys, Phelps has never sued the publishers of these exposes for libel.
