Karl Rove’s Biggest Regret

August 16, 2007 at 6:00 am 4 comments

Karl Rove was recently asked by reporter Peter Baker what was his biggest regret in his nearly seven years in the Bush administration. His answer?

“I regret accepting that invitation from CNN and going to that stupid dinner and getting turned into MC Rove.”

Not the war in Iraq with nearly 4,000 American soldiers dead. Not the administration’s disastrous response to Hurricane Katrina which left ten of thousands homeless, hungry and without jobs. Not the 47 million Americans including millions of children with no health insurance. Not the erosion of civil liberties or turning America into a nation that conducts torture.

No, Karl Rove’s biggest regret is getting up before the traditional media elite and performing as MC Rove.

Let’s help Karl out and give him a few more ideas in the comment section of things that he could/should regret from his time working in the White House.

And for fun, here’s a clip of Karl as MC Rove:
