No More Gay Staffers

September 11, 2007 at 6:07 am 1 comment

Gay blogger Mike Rogers has decided that he will no longer report on congressional staffers who are gay yet are working for members of Congress who advocate an anti-gay agenda. We have Mike to thank for revealing to the world that members of Congress like Senator Larry Craig, Representative David Dreier and former Representative Ed Schrock were helping to promote an anti-gay agenda while engaging in sexual relationships with other men.

“Enough readers expressed concerns that I have decided to now focus on elected officials, those running for office and to high level political appointees in the administration,” Rogers tells the Sleuth.

You can read Mike’s blog to find out names of congressional staffers and RNC senior staffers who he reported on here.

I don’t understand; if it is good enough for elected officials to have their sexual orientation reported on why is it not a good idea to report on the sexual iorientation of their staffers? What’s good for the goose is good for the goose’s chief of staff!
