“I’m Gonna Kill That Fag”

That’s what two gaybashers said after beating a gay man who was waiting to meet his partner. Photos of the attackers and the results of their handy work are below.

John Lavasser, of Colebrook, said that he was targeted by two men in July because he is gay. He said he didn’t know his attackers, but he believes they knew him. He grew up in Colebrook, and he said people in the community know he is gay.

“They came after me from each side,” Lavasser said.

Prosecutors said Lavasser was beaten in his car by Sheane Eldritch, 23, and Thomas Baker, 20.

“As they were walking away, witnesses heard them bragging about it, saying, ‘I’m gonna kill that fag,'” Coos County Assistant Attorney Keith Clouatre said.

This is all the more reason that President Bush should get over his homophobia and sign the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act when it reaches his desk.

Is this getting worse in the US? Seems to be something like this being described most days now. Doesn’t seem to be the case anywhere else comparable.

    Wow.
There are plenty of acceptable reasons to beat up people, but homosexuality isn’t one.
Did Father Time forget to tell New Hampshire it’s the 21st century now?

Wow that is amazing. I can’t beleive that people would go to that extent to beat up people for what they are or even do.

There’s no need for violence. Do people go about beating “drunkards, liars, idolators, etc?” No. Love them, show them the way and pray for them. Don’t beat them up!

I agree with you “Bigheart”. For all the non-believers, in order to see the bigger plan God has for us all, God must first be the head of you’re life. No one is perfect but God. No one makes sound decisions all through life, we all have lived in the flesh in some way. Gamblers, murders, rapist, drug addicts, etc… God’s grace and mercy covers a multitude of sins. These are still God’s children. Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters,etc.. God can turn their mess into messages and produce messengers. Their test into testimonies to heal and save all who seek him. Let us all put on Christ and in all we do, do it in Jesus name…..PEACE!!
