Hottest. Senate Candidate. Ever?

It terms of hotness, members of Congress have not ranked high on the scale. That could all change with the announcement by former Nebraska senator Bob Kerrey that he is not going to run for the seat being vacated by Chuck Hagel.

A movement to draft Democrat Scott Kleeb, a former House candidate who lost a race in the most Republican district in the state by only five points, has begun. Check out the Draft Scott Kleeb for Senate group on Facebook and the new online petition.

You would think that for a Democrat to come so close to winning a Republican district, he would have to have imitated Joe Lieberman. In Scott’s case you would be wrong. Scott is a rock solid progressive with a keen knowledge of the issues and concerns of the people of Nebraska. He is a fourth generation ranch hand and a Yale graduate.

Check out this ad from his previous to get a sense of Scott and why he very well may be the Democrats best hope for capturing the Senate seat.:

You can join the Facebook group to urge Scott to run here.

You can sign the petition urging him to run here.

You may “hit it,” but then his wife Jane Fleming Kleeb may feel the need to hit you. More than once.
