Hillary Clinton Wins New Hampshire

It looks like Hillary Clinton has squeaked out a victory in New Hampshire. CNN is saying that with 85% of the precincts reporting Clinton has 39% and Barack Obama has 37%. John Edwards trails with 17% of the vote.

This was a hard fought victory for the Clinton campaign. My guess is that the dramatic events of the last few days with some in the traditional media predicting that he campaign was falling apart and the emotional moment when she spoke with tears in her eyes about her commitment help her close the gap with Obama with women voters leading the way.

Neither Clinton nor Obama can relax. The fight for the Democratic nomination goes to Nevada on January 19th, South Carolina on January 26th and Florida on January 29th.
