Obama: McCain Wants to Run Healthcare Like They’ve Run Wall Street

September 21, 2008 at 11:00 am 9 comments

Barack Obama unloads on John McCain about McCain’s inability to see that the fundamentals of our economy are not strong.

McCain is on record saying that he wants to run healthcare the same way they have run the bank industry. I guess when you own so many houses that you can’t remember exactly how many houses you own it is not such a big deal to gamble with working people’s money.

This site is getting whackier & whackier by the post…Hello Michael Crawford, a Universal Health Care system would be ran by the Government and as has been proof by almost all Government programs they suck…It doesn’t matter who is in Office, Government ran programs cannot and will not pan out.

Obama is a joke….He is a hack….and members of the party are beginning to figure this out…you know it’s a joke when your VP selection says that Hillary Clinton is more qualified to be the VP than your own selection. Give me a H-A-C-K!

D.A. I love the fact that you are all up in my gay grill. That’s the kind of quality I like in a guy.

As for your asinine comment about government programs sucking, social security, Medicare, NASA, the various branches of the military, the G.I. Bill which helped to create the middle class, the National Guard, the WPA and other programs prove you wrong.

It is the Republican Party’s unmitigated hatred for any government program that helps strengthen the common good over the wealthy and white that has prevented some programs from being more effective.

BTW, as a GOPer who is undoubtedly supporting the McCain/Palin ticket, you are in no position to talk about anyone being a hack.

Michael you just don’t get it…you’re an idiot if you belive that social security works….check around, it’s a government ran program that many people are fearful of not having when they become retirement age.

Medicare- again check around with the elderly and you will find the services offered are inadequate care for our diverse elderly recipients.

Wow, wow, wow…with your comments pertaining to the Military, GI Bill, National Guard, seems to have you as pro-military, which is typically not a stance taken by Liberals thus the reasoning behind our national defense being cut when dems are in control….are you a closet republican?

You’re giving lunatic conspiracy fringe talking points in trying to blame the Republican Party on programs not being effective. It is the Democratic ticket that gains when people stay dependant upon the government assistance, therefore you are dead wrong in blaming the Republicans. The Liberal Democrats are at fault in teaching low-lifers to stay on assistance and screw over the working American.

Look at what good raising the minimum wage did…the cost of everything went up and people have been bitching because we are all feeling it in the pocket books….but most importantly the small business owners are the ones hurting the most.

Obama & Biden are scared, as should be and you’re falling right in line with their timidness.

“You have no power here! Now begone, before somebody drops a house on you!”

Suspiciously strange why a Conservative (ha!) would want to hang around a gay blog, don’t you think?

The Larry Craig Memorial toilet stall in is Minneapolis. You might have more luck there, DA.

    Begone, begone, begone!

This cracks me up….these folks want to write how they feel, tell all what they think….but when questioned upon it they cannot back it up with substance.

That’s hilarious, even more and more of a joke…your substance will ‘peter’ out before delivering anything worth while. Congrats on October 11th, I’m sure you’ll write a post about it and condemning John McCain.

    See, you’re way too predictable.

Here’s some red meat for you to chew on, DA: The latest ABC/Washington Post Poll tells us that Obama has taken the clear lead–52% over McCain’s 43%

“In a major shift in the polls, Barack Obama has brought Democrats home, and now leads McCain by a clear majority. If borne out by other surveys, this will represent a tectonic shift in the electorate. According to this new poll, Obama has done something Gore and Kerry could not … reach 50% in a pre-election poll.”

Do you have an ungrammatical rant to add?

**Yawn** 6 weeks to go to the election and with that said, think back about 2 months ago and his lead was 12 points in the polls. So given the time left, I’m sure the poll numbers will continue to dwindle down. Besides, we’re talking about 1,082 people surveyed, not an entire Nation.

Keep in mind you’re talking about an Obama-Biden ticket that is full of gaffs, i.e. Obama recently accused McCain of blocking stem cell research and then there is Biden. When Obama looks back at why he lost the Election of 2008 I am sure this will be one noticeable regret he will have. Biden just cannot shut up and will hurt Barry’s chances of winning.

It cracks me up though how the Liberals are sweating, trying to come up with the October surprise in August, then in September, etc., but really look at things, it’s the Liberal Democrats flipping out with the Hollywood Elitist really getting their panties in a wad and it’s the Conservatives that are setting back waiting for November.
