My name is Michael Crawford and I began Bloggernista in November 2006 as a way to indulge in the things that I am most passionate about: men, politics and pop culture. Not necessarily in that order.

My obsession (yes, obsession) with men means that I am a big time gay. I’m not just your average garden variety gay. I am as gay as it gets and getting gayer all the time.

I have logged more than 15 years working in gay and AIDS activism including stints with the Human Rights Campaign and as an organizing of the Millennium March on Washington for LGBT Civil Rights.

I am also weekend editor of The Bilerico Project.

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed on this blog are mine and mine alone and not those of any organization I may be associated with.

I came across your blog and like it a lot – some very thought provoking stuff. I was wondering if you would consider blog rolling my site on your homepage (http://www.donkeydish.com/). I am happy to do the same, especially for a fellow Obama supporter. Let me know!

MICHAEL CRAWFORD! Is this the same queer who protested and yelled and fought side by side with me and others in Houston for justice, diversity education and civil rights issues? Were you ever on the radio in the wee hours of the morning talking about sexuality issues, being out, and the importance of speaking your truth? I just found this blog and I am loving it. I miss your voice and your opinions and I am proud to see this site and know you are still active and following your heart. I am living in Michigan and following my dreams and speaking my truths too. Queers forever, baby! email me or find me on facebook or linked in if you are interested. Much love and happy thoughts your way, Diane
